Purpose
A simple reference for when you need to get into or out of the the Diamond Creek depot out of hours.
When to Use This SOP
Before 5:45 or after 18:30 on weekdays, on the weekend or on a public holiday.
Who Should Use This SOP
Anyone who needs to enter or exit the Diamond Creek depot before 5:45 or after 18:30 on weekdays, on the weekend or on a public holiday.
Tools and Resources Needed

Gate Hours
- The Diamond Creek depot gates are CLOSED:
- Before 5:45 in the morning
- After 18:30 in the evening
- All day on the weekend
- All day on public holidays
- If you need to enter or exit the depot outside these times you will need your driver fob to open the gates.
Procedure
Tap Your Driver Fob on the NFC Reader
- NFC reader is on the yellow arm just before the gates.
- Gate should respond and begin sliding open. If not, wait a moment and tap again.
- If the red light is not illuminated the gate is non-functional. Ring your supervisor.
- The gate remains open for about 120 seconds. Remain alert to not let anyone in behind you.
