Purpose

To provide full-time drivers clear expectations and procedure when requesting an early finish or time off during work hours.


When to Use This SOP

Use this procedure anytime you’re unsure about the procedure or expectation when you need to finish early or take time off during work hours.

This procedure is for Full-Time Drivers


Tools and Resources Needed
  • CMS on Operations kiosk computer.

  • Expectations

    • We understand that life happens. And we always want to support you being there for the important moments as often as we can.
    • Providing as much notice as possible increases the chance that requests can be accommodated.
    • Early finishes before 5:30pm need to be for essential appointments.
    • If you need a recurring pattern of early finishes or days off, please talk with the Operations Manager so we can explore options together.
    • Recurring requests are considered on a case-by-case basis.

    Procedure

    • Please send requests go through the CMS Kiosk in operations – putting your request directly into CMS this ensures it can’t be missed.
    • Submit requests as early as possible – ideally 7 days or more.
    • Operations are happy to take you through the CMS leave process if you’re unsure.
